Niseko Annupuri: the cheap ticket, the long spring and wide greens
Resorts · ニセコアンヌプリ · Checked for 2026–27, 11 Oct 2026
The western end of Niseko United, on the Niseko Town side. Cheapest day ticket, latest close, fewest people.
Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area is the western end of Niseko United, on the Niseko Town side of the mountain. Its base is small and low-key: the gondola, the Nook Annupuri center house with Sports Rent Ciao on the ground floor, and a handful of hotels.
Two things make it worth a look even if you sleep in Hirafu. It has the cheapest day ticket of the four resorts, and it stays open to 5 May 2027.
Personally I'd suggest Annupuri for a cheap day, a learning day or a late-season trip. Rent from Ciao at the base and buy the Annupuri-only ticket.

Terrain and who it suits
Niseko United lists 13 main courses. The lower mountain is wide and easy: Family averages 6° over 580 m, Junior 9° over 960 m, and Paradise 11°. That makes Annupuri a calm place to learn, away from Hirafu's traffic.
The steeper runs are short. Fukayuki Rinkan is the stand-out at a 34° maximum and 24° average over 400 m; Challenge and Dynamic both reach 33°.
Annupuri's gates lead into the same Niseko backcountry as the rest of the range. The Niseko Rules name Yunosawa, between Annupuri and Niseko Village, as completely out of bounds.

Getting there and between areas
Niseko United gives about 105 km from Sapporo by car via Route 230, the Nakayama Pass and Kimobetsu. JR Niseko Station is about 10 minutes away by local bus or taxi. The airport ski bus also stopped at Niseko Annupuri on last season's timetable.
Annupuri links over the top with Niseko Village (from the top of Village's Wonderland Chair), and the NISEKO UNITED shuttle bus runs to all four bases. An Annupuri-only ticket does not cover the shuttle.
Evenings are quiet. Without a car, a big night out means a taxi to Hirafu or Kutchan.
Which lift pass for Niseko Annupuri
Annupuri's own ticket is the bargain of the valley: ¥7,800 for an adult day in peak, ¥7,500 regular and ¥6,700 early and spring. There is a 5-hour ticket (¥6,700 peak), a night pass (¥3,700, 16:30–19:30) and a point pass for single rides.
Annupuri's online shop gives you the keycard free (normally ¥500). An Annupuri ticket does not work at the other three resorts or on the shuttle.
When to go
- Peak and regular season get the night session from 16:30 to 19:30.
- Spring is Annupuri's strong card. The resort stays open to 5 May 2027, and the final-season day ticket is ¥5,600.
- The gondola is the original 1985 lift until its replacement, planned before 2028–29.
