Niseko United
Four interconnected resorts share one lift pass: Grand Hirafu (largest, most dining), Hanazono (best terrain park, family-friendly), Niseko Village (quietest, long cruisers), and Annupuri (best beginner terrain). Ski between all four on one ticket. Total 2200+ acres of terrain, base 308m to summit 1308m at Mt Annupuri peak.
Average 14–15 metres of snowfall per season. Dry Hokkaido powder from December through March. English widely spoken at all four resorts.
Grand Hirafu
グラン・ヒラフ
Largest of the four Niseko United resorts. Thirty runs across 328 hectares, base 308m to summit 1204m. Main village hub with most restaurants, bars, and accommodation. Beginner-friendly lower slopes, advanced tree runs and off-piste access. English widely spoken. Best when you want convenience, nightlife, and variety.

- Busiest resort in Niseko — peak weeks (New Year, Chinese New Year, Aussie school holidays) can feel crowded.
- Village is spread out — some accommodation requires shuttle. Check walk time to lifts.
- Most expensive area for dining. Budget accordingly or cook.

Family-friendly resort next to Hirafu. Twelve runs, 178 hectares, summit 1170m. Best terrain park in Niseko. Wide beginner slopes, excellent kids programs, and powder stashes between Hirafu and Annupuri. Part of Niseko United. English-speaking staff. Quieter than Hirafu with good intermediate cruising.

- staying in Hirafu but exploring quieter terrain — easy to lap between areas

- Limited dining at base — most people return to Hirafu village for dinner.
- Smaller than Hirafu — advanced skiers may lap it quickly without venturing to other resorts.
- No night skiing if that matters to you.

ニセコビレッジ
Quietest of the four Niseko United resorts. Twenty-seven runs, 410 hectares, summit 1155m. Long tree-lined cruisers, excellent beginner terrain, and family-friendly atmosphere. Connected to Annupuri. English staff, gondola access, and ski-in/ski-out village accommodation. Best when you want space and calm.

Locals' choice for powder and empty runs. English staff available. Best when you want solitude and perfect beginner progression.
